On Monday, we had music and Spanish. We got into the Blues music unit. On Tuesday, it was Mardi Gras and Mrs. Caporale gave everyone in the class a triple stuffed Oreo because we just finished our opinion essay. On Wednesday, it was Ash Wednesday and everyone got ash crosses on their foreheads. We also started the Iditarod project. There was a "pep rally" and students from the school participated in some events such as the human Hungry Hungry Hippos game. On Thursday, we went on typing.com and did more of the Iditarod project. We had more music and talked more about the blues and switched seats. Mrs. Caporale introduced us to a book about a bunny made of china named Edward Tulane. We did a science February weather graph. We had gym with Mr. Peterson's class! It was also Dr. Seuss's birthday. On Friday, it was the last day of Jump Rope for Heart. We chose what we wanted to play with as long as it involved jumping. There was a raffle in gym today for our class and John, Libby, and Chanse won. In art class, Mr.Kilps showed us about how to make things out of clay. We had a Social Studies test today. I hope you enjoyed this week's blog post. ;)
